Ecco i risultati:
Pieter Claesz. was born in Germany. From about 1620, along with Willem Claesz, he developed the breakfast piece, a new genre of Dutch painting. Claesz.'s humble ingredients--bread, cheese, wine, a half-eaten herring, offered in pewter, glass, and porcelain tablewares--seldom varied. His still lifes were balanced, detailed, and tranquil. Unlike his predecessors, for whom the still life meant abundance and showing as much of the table as possible from a high viewpoint, Claesz. organized a single, graceful grouping on the table's corner with a simple, partly eaten meal or snack that bespoke human presence. Vanitas themes may be implicit in the unfinished meal, reminding the spectator of the transience and uncertainty of life. Claesz. and his generation also reduced color in their compositions, working in a low-key, almost monochrome palette that allowed them to concentrate on tonal relationships. A similar reductive tonalist aesthetic was taking place in contemporary landscape painting, which his son Nicolaes Berchem pursued. Claesz. founded a school of still life painting in Haarlem, where he lived from 1617.
I dipinti mi piacciono davvero molto. Enjoy.

I follow the Moskva
Down to Gorky Park
Listening to the wind of change
An August summer night
Soldiers passing by
Listening to the wind of change
The world closing in
Did you ever think
That we could be so close, like brothers
The future's in the air I can feel it everywhere
Blowing with the wind of change
Chorus:
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
In the wind of change
Walking down the street
Distant memories
Are buried in the past forever
I follow the Moskva
Down to Gorky Park
Listening to the wind of change
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams
With you and me
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
In the wind of change
The wind of change blows straight
Into the face of time
Like a storm wind that will ring
The freedom bell for peace of mind
Let your balalaika sing
What my guitar wants to say
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams
With you and me
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night Where the children of tomorrow dream away
In the wind of change

View from my room window @ Revedin
Oderzo Central Square
Buona Pasqua.

Back to the Office but just for one day (remember D. Bowie? ... We can be heros just for one day...). For I was really in the forests I couldn't catch up properly with updatings here in the blog. You'll get all in one right now.
The week was cloudy and rainy most of the time. The place was beatiuful anyway, a resort nearby the beach in the Angelholm gulf. Good meeting, many things discussed throughly and solved. Food was good, even if we didn't have much time to rest or take a look at the surroundings. We're used to, anyway.
Planes were late, both Monday and Friday, CPH is a mess, but also MXP is not normal having one strike every second day. I bought some nice chocolate Easter eggs and some stuff for the kid.
I'm leaving again tomorrow morning, but it will be Italy this time.
Then some days off. Plan to go to seaside!!

Bad day today... the 11.25 flight from MXP was hell late. Took off at 12.45, just landed I had to rush for the train, I boarded really just in time. Bad weather in CPH, rainy and 6 C. Meeting from 17.15 to 21.00. Quick supper I finished now but skipped the meal . I am really tired. Going to bed. Tomorrow I managed to find a lift to Angelholm. I will have some time to rest, we are leaving at 10.00.
Ciao.
